 Academic programme

We are passionate about promoting meaningful academic and professional development.

Our psychology student placements are not limited to working as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). Instead, they are fully immersed in the educational environment — actively participating in Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) discussions, contributing to case reflections, and developing a strong understanding of:

  • Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Inclusive education practices
  • Pupil wellbeing and mental health
  • Safeguarding and intervention strategies

We also support aspiring teachers in their journey toward Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), ensuring they gain practical experience, reflective skills, and confidence in real-world educational settings. Our goal is to equip every trainee with the knowledge, skills, and professional insight needed to achieve their long-term career ambitions — not just to work in support roles, but to lead, contribute, and thrive.
