Fees

Bespoke arrangements

The Orange Tree School is committed to providing an exceptional education, tailored to meet individual student needs. School fees are broken down into different 'elements' depending on what support your child requires. All fees are charged termly in advance and from 1 September 2022 are as follows:

Standard Fees (Element 1)

Years 7 to 11 - £35,693 per year (£11,988 per term)

Year 12 and 13 - £40,843 per year (£13,614 per term)

The standard fees cover our small group teaching by specialist teachers, a personal key tutor, stationery, lunch, day trips, examination fees, group music/art therapy sessions and any Educational Psychology sessions for EHCP reviews.

Additional Therapies and Support (Element 2)

Individually Priced

If additional therapies and support are required above that which is provided in the Standard Fees (Element 1), then these will be priced individually and charged in addition to the Standard Fees. Therapies and support which may fall under this element include 1 to 1  support from: Learning Support Assistants, Higher Level Teaching Assistants, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are your fees?

Our fees are tailored to your child’s individual needs. We have two ‘packages’ of provision – the standard package and the additional extras.

Our standard package is £35,963 (£40,843 for year 12 and 13) a year and covers our small group teaching, whole-school wellbeing programmes, as well as lunch, school equipment, and day trips.

In addition to our standard package, we can also provide even more bespoke support – including SaLT, OT, and dedicated LSA Support - at an additional cost.

Do you offer bursaries?

We recognise that not every family will be able to access the Outstanding education provided by the Orange Tree School due to the cost of the fees. We are, however, committed to work towards ensuring that pupils can flourish and thrive as part of the Orange Tree School community, regardless of parental income.

Parents can apply through the Local Authority route if they are unable to meet the cost of the fees privately.

How does local authority funding work?

Local Authority Funding is secured through an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP). This is a legal document which outlines your child's individual needs and what must be provided to them.

Depending on the content of the EHCP, the Local Authority may be able to fund part, or all, or the fees for the Orange Tree (this can include additional extras).
