The Orange Tree School is a new independent school provision for young people aged 11-18 who will thrive in a small, therapeutic and nurturing environment.

The Orange Tree School team are passionate about providing opportunities for those students currently out of education or those who are not coping within the mainstream setting. Our aim is to work consistently to provide excellence for every student. With a highly-trained team, we support each student’s individual needs, particularly focusing on those students needing a safe, but aspirational, environment to recapture an often lost passion for learning and creativity.

We believe that with the right care and support, our students can leave us prepared for study and work, play an active role in their communities, and lead happy, curious lives.

We are seeking a highly qualified Maths/ICT teacher who is capable of delivering outstanding teaching to at least a GCSE Level. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, experienced and able to contribute to the design and development of the curriculum that will inspire children to appreciate Maths/ICT both as academic disciplines and in their application to the wider world. They will also be able to demonstrate a commitment to key pastoral duties and responsibilities within the school.
